Based on the same construction methods as our original Deep Dropper rod, the Blue Water Bandit is a great addition to the arsenal. With the advent of stronger small electric reels, many find them ideal for use while trolling. Simply unscrew the ferrule, and swap over from deep dropping / sword fishing to trolling.
There is now an option for a heavier rod, 80-100 class, new for 2020.
We feel these rods are a bit too heavy for deep dropping, unless running 10+ lbs of lead. (we can change the tip over to a swivel tip if desired, contact us for details)
